About Me
PRIORITIES
As your candidate for Greenburgh Town Supervisor, I am deeply committed to addressing our housing needs. Our community is at a crossroads, and we need visionary leadership to guide us into a future where everyone has access to affordable, high-quality housing. I believe in the potential for new housing and growth to bring fresh energy to Greenburgh, while preserving the unique character of our town.
We must look to the future with courage and conviction. I will work hand in hand with all relevant stakeholders and fight to rezone unoccupied land to develop housing to accommodate a growing population, ensuring that we meet the needs of all residents without altering the character of Greenburgh. I will work hand-in-hand with the Town Board and advocate on your behalf and with developers to develop housing and mixed use buildings near train stations, making commuting more convenient and cost-effective for our hardworking families.
To support these efforts, I will establish housing trust funds, fueled by both public and private contributions. By streamlining zoning and permitting processes, we can cut through bureaucratic red tape and invite private investment in affordable housing, ensuring that our community thrives.
But our vision doesn't stop at housing alone. I will advocate for increased funding for community development projects in affordable housing areas, creating vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods with recreational facilities and resources tailored to the needs of women and families. And to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, I will empower housing inspectors to address any safety or maintenance issues promptly, especially with our elderly.
Together, we can build a Greenburgh where everyone has the opportunity to live in dignity and security. We can create a community that reflects our shared values of inclusivity, fairness, and progress. I believe in this vision, and I know that with your support, we can make it a reality.
As your candidate for Greenburgh Town Supervisor, we must address the pressing challenge of climate change, and act with urgency and vision. I am committed to safeguarding our community from the impacts of climate change. I will initiate comprehensive flood risk assessments and develop robust floodplain management plans. By investing in green infrastructure—such as rain gardens, green roofs, and permeable pavements—we can effectively mitigate stormwater runoff and reduce flooding.
At the same time, I am dedicated to improving our infrastructure. We can advocate with the county, state, and federal government to increase funding to upgrade our existing infrastructure to support population growth and enhance connectivity between neighborhoods. With persistence and dedication to revitalize these relationships, we can do regular maintenance and repair programs will address issues like potholes on major roads, including Central Avenue.
Developing comprehensive plans for sidewalks and bicycle lanes will enhance safety and promote active transportation. I will conduct traffic studies and engage with the community to identify and address safety concerns.

Upgrading our town's website will be a priority, making it a user-friendly hub for all essential services.
We will invest in smart infrastructure technologies to optimize critical services like water, energy, and transportation. Expanding smart features throughout our town, such as smart streetlights and environmental sensors, will not only reduce congestion but also improve overall mobility and safety.
Our commitment to creating a smarter Greenburgh includes enhancing the resident reporting app to ensure that concerns about potholes and other infrastructure issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. Together, we can build a more connected, efficient, and livable community.

● Establish policies to promote the release of open data sets and information to the public, fostering transparency, innovation, and collaboration in addressing community challenges.
● Modernize and update the government resources website to provide residents with easy access to information and services, including online permitting and application processes.
● Invest in smart infrastructure technologies such as sensors, meters, and analytics platforms to optimize the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of essential services such as water, energy, transportation, and waste management.
● Advocate for the expansion of smart features in city infrastructure, such as smart streetlights, sensors for monitoring air and water quality, and integrated transportation systems to reduce congestion and improve mobility.
● Commit to updating and expanding the app that allows residents to report issues like potholes and infrastructure problems directly to city officials for prompt resolution. At the same time, develop a Town wide app that will host information sharing of events, park schedule, etc.
Our youth are the lifeblood of our vibrant community, and they hold the key to our future. It's our duty to provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. Building a society where our young people can expand their horizons and diversify their growth is essential for the ongoing prosperity of Greenburgh.
As your candidate for Greenburgh Town Supervisor, I am fully committed to ensuring our children receive the support they require in education, mental health, and entrepreneurial endeavors. We must embrace both a local and global perspective, nurturing our youth to become leaders in their communities and beyond.
By prioritizing our youth, we lay the foundation for a stronger and more resilient society. Strengthening and deepening global partnerships and local organizations focused on empowering youth is imperative. We must also foster initiatives that facilitate the integration of youth who have faced legal challenges back into society, providing them with the support they need for a fresh start. Together, let's forge a path to a brighter future, empowering our young minds to realize their full potential and guide us into a new era of unity and progress.
Nevertheless in the wake of the deepest division our nation has seen, we find a profound opportunity to unite the hearts and minds of our loving Greenburgh community. This division is not a struggle of black against white, or man against woman, but a pivotal moment for understanding each other in good faith, with transparency, and equality.
The fundamental principles and values of America are built on the dream that we can come together in our collective humanity, regardless of gender or race. Our journey towards equality is far from over, but we have made progress because we, the people, have worked hand in hand, unwavering in our common goal of being American.

Economic development and business growth are the lifeblood of our community. By fostering entrepreneurship, attracting strategic industries from both at home and abroad, and supporting existing businesses, we can create jobs, drive innovation, and ensure prosperity for all.

As your candidate for Greenburgh Town Supervisor, I am deeply committed to improving education for our children. Together, we will embark on a journey to uplift our educational system and create a brighter future for every student in our community.
First and foremost, we can develop a comprehensive plan to upgrade and modernize our school buildings, ensuring they are safe and conducive to learning. We will seek necessary funding for the construction of new schools in areas where they are most needed, addressing both growth and underserved populations.
Expanding early learning opportunities is a priority. By working closely with community organizations, we will reach every child, providing quality early education to set a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
In partnership with local businesses and universities, we will open doors for our students to access valuable internships, apprenticeships, and career pathways in high-demand fields. This collaboration will ensure that our students are well-prepared for the future, equipped with the skills and experiences needed to thrive.
Lastly, we will expand and diversify our career and technical education programs, giving students the tools they need to succeed in various careers. By investing in their education and future, we are laying the groundwork for a more sustainable and robust society. I note the Supervisor has no power or authority over schools. However, the Supervisor is the leader of the Town and holds significant influence to advocate for the various school districts with our county, state, and federal leaders.
Together, we can create an educational system that not only meets the needs of our children but also inspires them to reach for the stars. Let's work hand in hand to build a brighter, more prosperous future for Greenburgh.

From the outset of my administration, I am committed to appointing a Deputy Town Supervisor who embodies confidence, trust, and dedication. Managing a town is a team effort, and I want to surround myself with bright minds who will help craft a bright future for our community. Our town deserves a full-time, seasoned, capable, and devoted Deputy Town Supervisor who will work closely with the Supervisor to support and enhance our town's daily operations. This role will collaborate with the Town Board, town departments, and all personnel, fostering a spirit of teamwork, transparency, cooperation, and accountability on all projects and opportunities. Together, we will strive to improve the quality of life for all our residents and build a stronger, more vibrant community.
